Espoon kartano weddings are always gorgeous ones. The venue itself is really beautiful. The surrounding area is also pretty versatile for wedding portraits. You don’t have to go far in order to find different backgrounds for your portraits. There are trees, lots of other greenery, flower fields, a flowing river and some old buildings.

This intimate summer wedding of 2015, had a bit misfortune. The wedding couple had planned an outside ceremony. But there were dark clouds arriving quickly towards Easpoon kartano. Thus, the plans had to change quickly. The ceremony was still touching and beautiful – even though it was pouring rain at the same time.

Wedding day weather is always a question mark in Finland. It can rain but it can also be pretty hot and sunny. This wedding had both – heavy rain and after that rays of sunshine.

I always told my couples beforehand that they shouldn’t stress too much about the weather.

It’s good to have a backup plan but most of the times the rain stops at some point during the day. And after the rain, the sky is almost always super beautiful with pastel colors. So, perfect time for portraits!
